Dang!!!
Sleep claimed its debt with a pound of flesh,
my phone rings and there am I,
still in bed,
I look at my watch,
the lab group meeting is supposed to have just started,
I should have been there early,
to finish my lab report,
and set the room up for the meeting.
Arrrrh what prep for prelim can do to sleep cycles,
My yesterday never slept,
Yet today doesn't take that into account,
Nature has a way of exacting its dues.
