My legacy!

I can't imagine anything better,
Than being the clay in the hands of the master sculptor,
The idea in the mind of the master architect,
The brush in the hands of the master painter,
The words in the mind of the master poet,
The pencil in the hand of the master craftsman,
The soldier in the service of commander in chief of the world,
Let this be my legacy Lord,
Numberless touched with Christ,
By Christ, through me,
There couldn't be a life better lived.

Cycle of life.


Life, born in the same place as death,
Where the start of death is the same for life,
The next life always one moment away,
Your final breath always one heartbeat closer,
Whether we realize it or not,
For every life in every breath,
We die with the same,
Numbered years and days,
Numbered breaths and heartbeats,
Not for the accumulation of things,
But the rightful use of available resources,
Big or small,
For the most positive effect,
Ever constant betterment of defect,
Let the fear of death never paralyze your living.

As long as,
There is injustice,
And galled prejudice,
One child who can't be educated,
A poorly attended pregnancy gone complicated,
As long there is one unsaved soul,
To reach them I give you my sole,
Let me be at the fore front,
Let me be at the front lines even in the face of affront,

Let me be your soldier against ills,
Let me be your vehicle of good,
Let me be the fountain head of your spring of provision,
Take my next breath,
Take my next thought,
Take my next move,
Even if it were the last,
Yes Lord let somebody breathe easier,
Because I lived.

Drug of perverted love.

You two are on drugs,
Drunk in dislocated love mugs,
It is making you delusional,
...extremely delusional,
Caught up in an illusion of hope,
A hope which becomes worse than dope,
Impotent clouds without rain hang around your head,
In a haze which blurs the path you tread,
Stop smoking that weed of extramarital adulterous lust,
For it comes with a heavy cost.

With a concrete delicacy,
Which quickly eludes us,
Hanging from a strand,
As strong as the threads on a spider's web,
Watch it,
Live life to the full,
Don't be a fool,

Courage and Passion.

I make an entreating call to courage,
Make haste and supplant this rising rage,
Come on dear,
We must not run as fast as the deer,

Summon every courage you can find by grace,
Choking fear without leaving a single trace,
Fear of making the right choice,
Fear which robs the right voice,

Fear which fuels a rabid love for job,
Fear which leaves you with a secret sob,
Fear that commitment would rob career,
Even though pain from lack of commitment is very severe,

Give your passion wings,
Let the love bell ring,
Give your reason the reins,
Let the queen of love reign,

Together let's let courage,
Take us through every stage,
Let us not fear the future,
Let us mold the future,

It might be rough,
It might be tough,
But we only reach it when we try,
Daring still even when we cry,

That is how we cover ground,
Learning as we go around,
Mocking threatening torment,
Relishing the moment,

Shaking off fear's fetter,
Becoming very better,
Becoming pace setters,
Propelled by all our falters.

Perspective

Coming in from warm summer days,
Today would not make me very gay,
I would have met today with a sorry whine,
But I want to meet today with a celebratory glass of wine,
Because I am coming in from the bitter cold winter nights,
This weather feels so very right,
It is like a taste of heaven,
The lesson from life to me is,
Depending on where you come from,
Your current circumstance can be your haven,
It is all about perspective.
